Join Vice President for Outreach, Dr. Larry Terry, as he shares his vision for outreach at Penn State, our stewardship of Penn State’s land-grant mission, and our goal to serve the residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and beyond. Learn about how Outreach engages and empowers communities and individuals to become resilient, healthy, sustainable, and innovative. During this session, Dr. Terry will be joined by representatives from Outreach units (such as OLLI, WPSU, The Arboretum at Penn State, the Readiness Institute at Penn State and many others) who will share information about the exciting, impactful programs they offer to various communities.
Instructor: Larry D. Terry II became the vice president for Penn State Outreach in January of 2023. Prior to his position at Penn State, Dr. Terry served as the executive director for the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service and as a professor in the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, both at the University of Virginia (UVA).
