The Economics of Climate Change
1 Session | Registration opens 3/3/25 8:00 AM EST
Learn about the way economists think about the effects of climate change on the economy and the suitability and effectiveness of mitigation and adaptation policies. Marc will define and explain the significance of concepts such as carbon price, carbon tax, carbon neutrality, climate mitigation, emissions trading, climate denial, and other related concepts. Explore how to model the back-and-forth effects of climate change on the economy and vice-versa, and how economics can help policy-makers manage the energy transition.
