Tour of AccuWeather Global Headquarters
1 Session | Registration opens 6/2/25 8:00 AM EDT
Founded in 1962 by Dr. Joel N. Myers in State College, AccuWeather is now the most recognized and most used source of weather forecasts and warnings in the world. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the AccuWeather Global Headquarters.
Instructor: Marshall Moss, senior director of strategic projects and senior meteorologist, works with all facets of the AccuWeather organization to ensure AccuWeather’s forecasting is the world’s most accurate and is presented in actionable, customized communications, personalizing the weather so people can improve their lives. Moss is instrumental in ensuring that AccuWeather’s globally-recognized Superior AccuracyTM is delivered in every presentation, from AccuWeather’s award-winning mobile applications and web properties to broadcast services and severe weather warnings for clients around the world.
- The AccuWeather building has 3 floors, and as such, there will be a fair amount of walking and use of stairs during this tour. There is an elevator available for anyone unable to use the stairs but use will require a separate chaperone, which may mean missing parts of the tour.
