More than fifty years ago, humanity extended its reach into the heavens by taking its first steps onto the surface of our nearest celestial neighbor- the  Moon. The challenges faced were many and solving them fell to some 400,000 scientists, engineers and members of America's workforce through corporate subcontractors across many industries. This course focuses on the science, technology and geopolitical motivations for the birth of the mission to place humanity on the Lunar surface.
