Seven Days in May (1964) follows a plot by a military political group to overthrow the legitimate US government in response to the president’s negotiation of a disarmament treaty with the Soviet Union.  Directed by John Frankenheimer. Stars include Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Fredric March, Ava Gardner.  Running time 117 minutes.
