The Best Man (1964) follows the political intrigue as two candidates seek their party’s nomination for president at their party’s convention.  Both have strengths and weaknesses.  Play and screenplay by Gore Vidal.  Directed by Franklin J. Schaffeur.  Stars include Henry Fonda, Cliff Robertson and Lee Tracy.   Running time 102 minutes.
