Joan and Tim Fulton have lived in and been champions of York City for twenty-five years. Over the years they’ve seen and participated in many
initiatives to help improve the city. Enjoy the neighborhoods, the walkability, and gain some insights into new downtown developments. It’s a chance to see the city up close and to find reasons to be part of what’s happening.

The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles and last 90 minutes. There are bathrooms and some seating options along the way. Wear comfortable walking shoes because the sidewalks can be uneven. Bring some money so you can grab some lunch or shop at one of the local shops after the tour. Parking is available in one of the city garages or along the street.

  • Meet in Cherry Lane by the stage, downtown York City off of Market Street.

Joan Fulton retired as executive director of the York County Assistance Office (now the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services) in 2011. Tim Fulton was the vice president of Susquehanna Real Estate until his retirement. He also volunteered many hours to the betterment of York and York County.
