Come join local author and illustrator, Holly Gumke, as she shares her inspiration for writing and illustrating her children's book, Tree Frog, Tree Frog, Is That You? A Blue Bird Story. Learn about her creative process, and how she utilized watercolors to illustrate this charming rhyming bedtime story. Gumke will discuss how she crafted her artwork and share how she is developing the next books in the series. If you've ever been curious about how an idea turns into pages in a book, or where you can find inspiration to write your own story, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.
