Agatha Christie first introduced Hercule Poirot in the book "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" in answer to a challenge from her sister to "write a mystery that will keep people guessing to the end." She answered the challenge by writing this brilliant novel filled with eccentric characters, all of them hiding something, and connected in some way.  Please join Pat McGrath to discuss this famous fictional Belgian detective.

You  may want to read the book or view the film adaptation, which can be streamed on Amazon Prime or Britbox and is available on DVD.  The book may be borrowed from the York County Library System or downloaded free on the internet.

Patricia McGrath, an inveterate reader, has led the OLLI book group for many years. She began facilitating video discussion courses in winter 2020.
