York Countians rightly love our history. We have so much of it and it goes back so far. We have our stories, and we stick to them. We particularly like our claims of being first, as in first fair and first capital. It's time we explore these points in our past that have attracted comment, pros and cons, and see if we can separate fact from fiction. In this course, McClure will probe just that and why we feel the need to make such claims.
