Join Anne and Jesse as they describe the current trends in York County's population, from historical population data, to demographic information, and population projections. They will also give an overview of the updated Senior Housing Municipal Profiles, which provide a quick look at the County's seventy-two municipalities and their senior statistics (housing, social characteristics, income/poverty, etc.)


Anne Walko has degrees from Dickinson College, and Temple University. For the past twenty years, she has worked at the York County Planning Commission. Largely responsible for developing and implementing the County's Comprehensive Plan. Anne is also key staff to the York County Open Space and Land Preservation Program. Walko has become very knowledgeable about York County data and trends. As a partner with the Pennsylvania State Data Center, the YCPC has access to support related to the U.S. Census Bureau and other state and federal data sources. Anne enjoys teaching students of all ages about planning.


Jesse King has a degree in planning from Bloomsburg University and has worked at the York County Planning Commission for the past eight years. Jesse has led the development of multiple projects, including the Senior Housing Municipal Profiles, an in-depth review of municipal housing trends for seniors.
