By using current data, we will paint the picture of homelessness in York County. We will explore the reasons for homelessness and why solutions from prevention to mitigation are multi-pronged, and sometimes effective and, sometimes not effective. We will also discuss the current continuum of care in place in York County and the innovative solutions being piloted.

Patrick Ball serves as the CEO of CBY Professional Services. In addition to strategy and organizational development work, he focuses on interim leadership. He currently serves as the interim CEO of LifePath Christian Ministries, York County's largest homeless shelter. Homelessness has become a significant issue recently in York County. The reasons for homelessness are complex, the face of homelessness is changing, and the volume of York County residents experiencing homelessness is at an all-time high. LifePath working with community partners is actively leading efforts to address this.

Robin Shearer is the executive director of Friends and Neighbors of Pennsylvania. They provide street outreach services in York County to those experiencing homelessness.
