Geology of the York County Parks
Course | Registration opens 1/21/2025 8:00 AM EST
The York County Parks maintain more than 4,000 acres of land around the county. Each park is located within a different section of the county, so each parcel has its own geology to discuss. The Heritage Rail Trail is the best to examine the geology because the rock strata pass through York County in a southwest-to-northeast direction, and the popular trail runs nearly north and south. We will discuss each park separately in this two-week course.
