A Scientific Battle: Is the Shroud of Turin the Body of Jesus? (Repeat from 2023 with changes)

Course | Registration opens 1/21/2025 8:00 AM EST

We will look at various objects attached to holy people of various faiths – some probably real, many surely fake….some unsurprising…. others just flat-out bizarre. We will pay particular attention to the Shroud of Turin - is it the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth? Is the negative imprint an actual photo of Jesus Christ created by an immense burst of radiation from His Resurrection? Or is it a clever Medieval fake? Both sides of the argument have scholarly proponents. Negative and positive arguments will be considered.
