What Is It? Trade Secrets and a Daisy
Course | Registration opens 1/21/2025 8:00 AM EST
The course will explore antique tools and their applications as many of the tools were ubiquitous in earlier times but are not as well-known today. Many of the early trades had methods that were familiar to craftspeople in that trade, but the details were kept within a closed information loop. We will discuss several issues in conjunction with building a wheel with period tools. Thought to be a Pennsylvania German good luck symbol, we will discuss the Daisy Wheel and its use in designing buildings without pencil and paper or a tape measure.
