For Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and their entourage of fellow explorers, this was a two-and-a-half-year voyage of discovery. The Corps of Discovery, as they called themselves, traveled into the truly unknown, searching for a water route to the Pacific and exploring the continent. The summer of 2024 provided an opportunity for the instructor to revisit Lewis and Clark’s voyage and retrace some of his own voyage of discovery in 2022. This has provided new photographic material and stimulated much additional research. The result is that the Lewis and Clark program is now reinvented and expanded to three sessions!
