Demons and Demagogues
Course | Registration opens 1/21/2025 8:00 AM EST
The people and the leaders: just how much of what we know for sure is simply not true? Our knowledge of history is, at best, incomplete, often inaccurate, and at times possibly wrong. We have benefited from the discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel without knowing the source. Explore the heroes, legends and myths that underlie cultural values and examine the new paradigm of self-government. Recognize the entangling alliances that obstruct justice and the good intentions that have caused considerable harm. If we can learn from the mistakes of others, we may not make the same errors.
