Program Description

The Hillcroft neighborhood was developed in the 1930s/1940s. This course will look at the area in the preceding decades as well as the development itself. It will include some mention of Hillcroft East, Valley View, and the Stauffer Tract (where Penn State and Bummy's Woods are located.)

Charles Letocha is a retired ophthalmologist who has lived in Hillcroft since 1983. He is interested in local history as well as the history of eye-related subjects.
