Adams and Jefferson: Friends and Rivals
Course | Available
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were vastly different
in many ways yet had striking similarities. They were fast
friends in the move to independence and in the struggle
for liberty but became bitter rivals as the nation matured.
This course will delve into their lives and personalities,
their strengths and weaknesses, and will provide an
answer to the question of why the legacy of Jefferson is so
omnipresent but little is known of Adams today.
