Middle East Conflict: History and Current Status

This lecture will provide a brief history of the most significant wars and terrorist activities in the post-WWII Middle East, including current conflicts and their impact on stability and peace. 

John Ricca

John Ricca served fifty-four years working for the federal government as a weapons of mass destruction and counter-terrorism analyst, including twenty two years on active duty in the U.S. Army. His specialties are nuclear physics and health physics. He has a master’s degree and has completed more than two dozen technical courses in biological, chemical, and nuclear sciences. He served two years as a NATO special weapons staff officer. John currently serves as an on-call senior technical advisor to the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
