Winter Sowing and More

Course | Available

To teach that it is possible to begin gardening in the winter, Penn State York’s Dr. Jorge Santiago-Blay is offering this pop-up course to OLLI members. In this course, you will learn how to create your own little greenhouse to begin your spring gardening! Your plants will get an early start and be "hardened"! Dr. Santiago-Blay will also teach students a little bit about non-seed propagation (e.g. cuttings, etc). Please bring a plastic container. (Dr. Santiago-Blay can only provide one container per registrant.) All other supplies are included. Make sure to poke holes in the bottom of your container.

  • THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD IN THE PENN STATE YORK GREENHOUSE. MORE SPECIFIC LOCATION INFO WILL BE SENT BY EMAIL THE WEEK PRIOR.
