Major League Baseball Players from York and Adams Counties

Course | Registration opens 5/19/2025 8:00 AM EDT

More than a dozen players from York and Adams counties have played in the major leagues.  Barry Sparks will detail the careers of the players.  Local players have notched a number of significant achievements.  Find out who gave up Ty Cobb''s 3,000th hit; who played for two major league teams in one day; who collected four hits in a World Series game; who was a teammate of Sandy Koufax on the 1959 Los Angeles Dodgers; who won more games than any other southpaw in the history of the St. Louis Cardinals, and much more.
