Masonic Village Bus Trip
Trip: Masonic 9-12-25 | Registration opens 8/4/2025 8:00 AM EDT
Come for a day of exploring the grounds of the Masonic Village that dates back to 1910. During our bus tour through the Village, our tour guide will give us the history of the campus and point out interesting facts along the way. We will then enjoy a catered lunch on campus. After lunch, we will travel by bus to visit Rooster’s Woodshop which is a woodworking shop, featuring 56 benches, 20 assembly tables and a paint booth. Village residents can create their own pieces of furniture, wood art and more. The showroom is open to the public, and items are available for purchase. You can then visit the Masonic Village and Elizabethtown Model Railroad Club. This club is for residents who have an interest in building and operating model trains and railroads, specializing in G, O, S, Standard, HO, N and Z scale gauge trains. Last stop is a visit to the Masonic Village farm market which features home-grown and local produce, baked and jarred goods and products from specialty vendors.
This is a two-sneaker tour with a moderate amount of walking, museum/exhibit walking, accessible areas. We will stay on the bus for a tour of the grounds, but you will then walk between the Rooster’s Shop and Model Railroad at leisure.
You are able to purchase items at the Rooster Woodshop and farm market at your expense. A buffet lunch will include a selection of sandwiches, sides, drinks, and dessert. Specialty meals can be made if requested.
