Learn about Hex Signs and Cryptic Marks, Symbols and Signs in Old Barns and Houses
Course | Registration opens 8/4/2025 8:00 AM EDT
Through the years, we have all seen certain symbols and markings on various surfaces of buildings and other structures and have wondered about what they signify. After attending this course you will be able to distinguish one mark from another in what many of our ancestors and the barn builders of yesteryear placed on barn walls. You will see how symbols and marks left on exterior walls are distinctly different than those left on interior walls. Course members will be challenged when they are asked to describe what they see on these walls and will learn what they mean.
