Author Michael Maloney is a retired IT professional who lives with his wife and beagle in York County, Pennsylvania. His passions are the outdoors, genealogy, and local history. His first work, Across the River, Murder at Accomac, detailed the history of the Accomac River crossing on the Susquehanna River and an infamous murder that occurred in 1881. His second book, Rattlesnake Colonel: Thomas Cresap, an American Paradox brings to life the compelling and complex story of Thomas Cresap and the Colonial frontiers of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.
