President Putin: Twenty-Five Years and Counting

Course | Registration opens 8/4/2025 8:00 AM EDT

President Putin has ruled Russia for twenty-five years. This course explores the evolution of his leadership and of Russian society over that time period, often covering perspectives not generally covered by the American media or readily understood by the American public. Key topics include rising living standards, the growth of authoritarianism, and the promotion of a world view that presents Russia as the defender of traditional values vis-a-vis a decadent West.
