Taijiquan and Qigong

Participants will be engaged in standing or sitting activities which include movements intended to develop skills such as balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, and relaxation. The activities are centered around forms of Taijiquan and Qigong that were developed in China over the last centuries. Participants should wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothing with flat shoes.


Dustin Quance

Dustin Quance is a Tai Chi Instructor. He has been a student of Tai Chi for more than forty years and an instructor for the last twenty years. Teaching enables him to pass on the knowledge given to him, which has benefitted him physically and mentally. Quance has studied several different styles of Tai Chi, (also known as Taijiquan), and forms of Qigong. Qigong is a broad term for any activity which helps to foster the development of skills. Taijiquan is a form of Qigong which also has a martial arts emphasis.
