Course | Registration opens 8/4/2025 8:00 AM EDT

Jump on board with Sheila Martin to explore untamed Patagonia, where some of the world's most stunning landscapes are filled with wildlife to the max! Hiking Iguazu Falls' walkways revealed birds in their spring plumage best! Travel to Argentina, Beagle Channel, Tierra Del Fuego National Park, and farther inland which hosts cryptic mammals and the best puma viewing on the planet. In Chile, the ranching atmosphere plus tufted tit tyrant, Andean condor, and Chilean flamingo further enrich nature's magic. Experience the instructor's outrageously memorable jaunt through a stark and jaw-dropping part of the globe, full of scenery and hundreds of birds.

Sheila Martin

Sheila Martin, of road-tripping parents whose vagabond spirit sank in long before the interstates, optimizes retirement chasing many interests. After forty-seven years in jobs, companies, two distinct careers, her supreme passion now is adventure travel, to what most would call less-predictable destinations. Late-to-the-game just ten years ago into birding and nature clubs, she has learned that turning a keener eye on the majesty of our world provides physical push, brilliant adventure, peaceful bravery, challenge toward conservation and a grateful understanding of the family of humankind, which impel her onward.
