Students of all coding backgrounds will be challenged to create games and animations using the program Scratch. Daily demonstrations of new and continuing skills will be followed by individual work sessions. Students will be tasked with creating an interactive program, which will be “played” by their  classmates on our final day of class.

Students will need parental permission to use a Scratch account. There is the potential of students accessing an online community component that will not be used during our program. Information on Scratch can be found at https://scratch.mit.edu/parents
