Edible Science - Sweet Experiments from the Kitchen

SEP Week 2 | Available

Taste the wonder in Edible Science, a hands-on class where everyday kitchen ingredients become the tools for delicious experiments. Campers will grow rock candy, perform a safe egg-shell removal demonstration, and explore magical (but edible) chemical reactions that teach real science concepts. Emphasis is on safety, observation, and tasty takeaways—perfect for curious cooks and young scientists who love learning through flavor and fun.

  • Students entering grade 1 through grade 7
  • All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.

Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.

Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
