Gnome Homes and Fairy Houses

Enter the magical world of gnomes, fairies, and other mythical creatures, beginning with an exploration of the lore through literature, then create habitats to attract them! We will look for gnome and fairy homes in the courtyard, as well as natural pieces to use along with repurposed materials to build displays for our own homes and gardens. Our math and science skills will help us construct our buildings, making sure they are structurally sound.
- Students entering grade 2 through grade 7
All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.
Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.
Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
