Plant Lab - Hydroponics, terrariums, and small-scale botany experiments
SEP Week 4 | Available
Dive into Plant Lab, a hands-on class exploring hydroponics, terrariums, and small-scale botany experiments. Campers will build mini hydroponic systems, design sealed terrariums, test factors like light and water, and investigate germination, root growth, and plant care. Activities emphasize observation, scientific method, and sustainable practices—perfect for young botanists who love hands-on experiments and watching plants thrive. Materials provided; curiosity required!
- Students entering grade 1 through grade 7
All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.
Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.
Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
