Garden Growers - Plant, Grow, Harvest
SEP Week 5 | Available
Dig into Garden Growers, a hands-on gardening class where kids learn to plant, tend, and harvest their own herbs and veggies. Campers will pot seeds, build mini raised beds, learn watering and soil basics, and create simple garden crafts like labeled markers and seed bombs. Emphasis is on hands-on care, seasonal planting, and watching food grow from seed to snack—plus students will prepare some tasty, bird- and pollinator-friendly treats to leave around campus for our four-legged and feathered friends. Perfect for young gardeners who love getting their hands dirty and helping wildlife!
- Students entering grade 1 through grade 7
All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.
Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.
Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
