Microwave Madness Quick, Tasty, Safe
SEP Week 5 | Available
Heat up fun in Microwave Magic, a hands-on cooking class where campers learn to make microwave cakes, omelettes, mug meals, and other speedy treats using safe techniques. Students practice portioning, timing, and safe appliance use while exploring creative flavor combos and plating. Emphasis is on kitchen safety, simple recipes, and tasty results—skills campers can bring home to become more self-sufficient in the kitchen.
- Students entering grade 1 through grade 7
All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.
Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.
Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
