Music Makers! Make Music, Make Noise, Make Friends

Create sound and spark creativity in Music Makers, a hands-on class where campers build working musical instruments from everyday materials. Students will explore rhythm, pitch, and basic acoustics as they construct drums, stringed instruments, shakers, and simple wind instruments using craft supplies and recyclables. Activities include design sketches, sound-testing labs, and group jam sessions that bring creations to life. Perfect for makers and music lovers who enjoy hands-on learning, experimentation, and noisy fun—bring curiosity and a sense of rhythm!
- Students entering grade 1 through grade 7
All students should bring a backpack containing a change of clothes, a water bottle, and a snack. For the safety of all students, snacks must be peanut-free.
Students staying for the full day should also bring a lunch and a second snack. Lunch does not need to be peanut-free. If your child has a food allergy, a safe space will be provided for them to eat.
Please note that we are unable to heat or reheat food items for students. This policy is consistent with our procedures during the academic school year.
