Working quickly to capture likeness was a technique used by John singer-Sargent, Richard Schmidt, Max Ginsburg, and many other artists to achieve a fresh work of art, not labored but easy and exciting. Join Liz and watch her achieve likeness in oil working from live models. Mornings will feature instructor demonstrations; students will paint in the afternoons using ideas and skills they have learned. Liz gives individualized instruction and a different models sits each day. Feel free to work in your medium of preference - bring oils, pastels, or watercolors.
