Montage artists will explore concepts in digital photography, as well as traditional methods of creating art to design mind altering montaged artwork. Students will learn techniques in overlaying photography with hand drawn artworks on translucent materials, as well as making transfers. They will study current artists that work in this medium as a means to inspire and demonstrate the endless possibilities of digital art. Montage artists will enjoy an air conditioned classroom and an outdoor field trip opportunity. Bring a bag lunch. Students need a cell phone with a camera to participate. (Photography field trip - parents provide transportation).
