Young artists will engage in a variety of creative experiences, which include developing artistic skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more. All young artists will develop the confidence they need to practice and create art. We will study an artist of the week, as well as find inspiration through a weekly theme.

Session 1: “Rainbow Pop” - 7/18-7/22 9 am - 11:30 am

Pop through the rainbow and imagine the world beyond. Design your art with a veil of rainbow colors. Study the Smithsonian’s vibrant rainbow installation made with 60 miles of thread, as well as the rainbow collection by English artist Ann Marie Bone.
