Teens | Available
Students will be guided to draw a self-portrait from observation. Through demonstrations and discussion, they will learn the structure of the head, proportions of the face, how to use facial expressions and point of view to communicate artistic intention, and how to represent various textures to depict hair. Examples of historical and contemporary portraiture styles will be examined.
