Atmospheric Watercolor Flowers Workshop with Lorraine Rimmelin | Saturday 5/23 10:00 am-1:00 pm| Spring 2026
Workshops | Available
Looking to loosen up your floral paintings? It might be time to let your washes do the work!
Watercolor has a beautiful, unique personality when mixed with water—it flows, moves, and mingles with other colors in surprising ways.
This workshop focuses on loosening up your floral paintings by working with flowing watercolor washes and negative painting techniques. You’ll learn how to allow the paint and water to interact naturally, creating soft blooms, ruffled edges, and organic shapes.
We’ll explore how to use water intentionally to guide movement, build layers, and create interest while letting flowers emerge through negative space. This class encourages experimentation and helps you gain confidence working with watercolor’s fluid, expressive qualities.
No drawing skills required - all skill levels welcome
