Make your very own sophisticated earrings while learning new jewelry skills. Students will practice on copper sheets before advancing to silver where they will cut the silver sheets with a disc cutter and use stamps to create their own design and texture. They will then add dimension by hammering the earrings into domes and create a step bezel using round and setting burs.
Each student will solder wire to the back and work harden to make earring posts.
Using liver of sulphur to darken, then sand and polish all raised areas for contrast.
Lastly, they will set sparkly stones and burnish.
