Have you ever wanted to create sculptures from your imagination and be amazed at what clay can become?

Spend the week Clay Dreaming and Creating with Illoisa !

 Projects that will be completed throughout this week will be sketching an idea and creating 3D sculptures using hand building, and the potters wheel. Each student will learn the fundamentals of basic under-glazing techniques to help finish their amazing creations.

Parents will be notified when kiln fired work is ready for pick up. Generally 2 weeks after the class ends.

  • There is a $4.00 registration fee included in tuition.
    Members will have the $4.00 fee deducted from tuition.

I’m a traditional 2-d painter and artist who is currently attending art school
at Western Connecticut State University. I also have a love for 3-d arts like
sculpture and ceramics. I’m looking forward to pursuing a Masters degree so
that I can pursue my love of teaching children and fostering creativity in
young minds. I’m a new teacher to the Brookfield Craft Center, and excited for
the opportunity to teach ceramics this summer!
