Henna (otherwise known as mehendi) is a form of all-natural body art. Leaves from the henna plant are made into a paste and applied to the skin, leaving behind a reddish-orange pattern for about two weeks. Students will learn about the multicultural significance of henna, the varying designs influenced by different world regions and best of all, how to apply it on oneself!
Students will develop and strengthen patience, detail orientation and learn how to enhance their fine motor skills.
Please note that students will have temporary henna tattoos that will slowly fade away over the course of a couple weeks.
