Build upon your Blacksmith Basics foundation of core techniques and methods in this more advanced 12 hour, 4 session class.

Advanced techniques include: punching and drifting (learn to make a one-inch hole in a three quarter inch bar), chiseling/splitting (for forks or pokers) and forge welding. Learning to do these things properly will open up a whole range of possibilities for the beginning blacksmith.

Each student can expect to complete several projects. Projects may include bottle openers, fireplace pokers, and/or forks. Come prepared to have a lot of fun and leave with your own hand-forged ironwork.
Open to ages 15 and older.

  • There is a $4.00 registration fee included in tuition. Members will have the $4.00 fee deducted from tuition.
There is a $67.00 materials fee included in tuition.
