Rigid Heddle Weaving
Adult | Registration closed 10/6/2024
Students will learn the fundamentals of weaving on a rigid heddle lap loom. Each student will begin with a pre-warped loom to get a feel for, and understanding of how the loom operates. This first project will be a small scarf. Once the first project is completed, we will move on to a second project, making a scarf from start to finish. Each student will learn how to plan projects, warping the loom, basic weaving techniques, and various options for how to finish a woven piece of cloth.
