Forge a Hat Rack

Enjoy a day creating a place to hang your many hats of winter.
In this one day introductory class learn fundamental forging techniques while creating a decorative and unique hat rack for the home just in time for winter.
Students should expect to have a fun day working at the anvil learning simple forging processes to create multiple steel hooks and a unique fold formed
sheet metal mounting plate.
There is a $4 registration fee included in tuition.
Members will have the $4 fee deducted from the tuition.
A materials fee of $17.00 is included in the tuition.
Please note that classes at Brookfield Craft Center must meet a minimum number of 2 registrations for the class to run. Students will be notified within a week's notice whether their class will be held. If the class is canceled due to low enrollment, students may request to be transferred to another class or be refunded in full.

Combining simple forged to shape items with functional design and purpose. Member of the Ct Blacksmith Guild and Volunteer/demonstrator at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association.
