Students will focus on the importance of observing and having their subject directly In front of them. Painting from life, from nature. Students will appreciate how much they can learn and improve simply by taking the time to observe and enjoy their painting subjects.

Acrylic painting, watercolor and ink will be explored to create artwork and practice technique. Painting, drawing, sketching and simply putting ink on paper is soothing and therapeutic. At the end of the course, students will have made a few pieces of art they enjoy and can share with loved ones.

Students will work inside the studio and with easels in the patio area outside by the river.
Please come prepared with hats, sunscreen and water bottles.

  • There is a $4 registration fee included in tuition.
Members will have the $4 deducted from tuition.
