Burger Flipper at the Power Hammer and Anvil

In this intermediate workshop explore working both at the power hammer and the anvil while working through forging large one-piece spatulas.
Students should expect to spend time forging a variety of sample/test pieces before moving on to working on a finished piece. Designed to gain confidence and knowledge at the power hammer to efficiently and accurately work stock. As well as at the anvil working on hammer control spreading material and creating clean forged details.
An emphasis will be placed on clean thought out forgings and processes that transfer to all other areas of forging.
Some Hand forging experience required.
There is a $4 registration fee included in tuition.
Members will have the $4 deducted from tuition.
There is a $32.00 materials fee included in tuition.
Please note that classes at Brookfield Craft Center must meet a minimum number of 2 registrations for the class to run. Students will be notified within a week's notice whether their class will be held. If the class is canceled due to low enrollment, students may request to be transferred to another class or be refunded in full.
