Acrylic Landscape Painting

In this two day acrylic painting class students will learn the basics of landscapes. Focusing in on one part of the painting each day. We will break down techniques, color choice and mixing, use of atmospheric distortion, reflections in water, and how it all ties back to the interplay between light and dark. The class will be spread out over two weekends and students will leave with a completed 8x10in landscape and techniques to use in the future.
There is a $4 registration fee included in tuition.
Members will have the $4 deducted from tuition.
There is a $4.00 consumables fee included in tuition.
This class is held in the River Room Studio which is beneath the Gallery.
There will be a set of steps to walk down.
Please note that classes at Brookfield Craft Center must meet a minimum number of 2 registrations for the class to run. Students will be notified within a week's notice whether their class will be held. If the class is canceled due to low enrollment, students may request to be transferred to another class or be refunded in full.
**Students are welcome to use supplies provided in the studio at an additional cost of $15.00 upon registration OR bring in their own supplies using the recommended supply list provided below as a reference. **
