In this intermediate landscape class students will learn several skills and techniques to paint dramatic and realistic landscapes. Using the basics of light, color, and atmosphere we will develop a complete scene from a photo reference. The course will be broken up into four sessions, each day will be focused on another aspect of the landscape as in sky, land, water, and the unifying details. Students will leave with a landscape painting of their own and the skills to take their landscape paintings to the next level.
